Latest reviews of MagicalPad - Notes, Mind Maps, Outlines and Tasks - All in one app for iPhone and iPad

I never write reviews... Ever!
But if I can be responsible for even one person to try this app then I am a happy girl! Iv tried out so many apps for an agenda or note type thing. But seriously this app takes the cake! It really does do it all! And differently. You can make plans or take notes or make up a schedule.with What ever u can come up with.
Poor customer service response to sync issue
Emailed company several times over 2 weeks to syncing issues btwn mac and ios devices. Created a page on mac and it dsnt sync to ios device. No response to emails .. Highly disappointed since I paid for mac, iPad and iPhone version.
Great first release!
I’m transitioning over to Magical Pad from XMind and yED. The added flexibility and features, plus much lower cost is a no brainer. Also, being able to working on the desktop, tablet, and phone make it very powerful. Obviously there some refinements that need to be made and no doubt will come with future updates. I do think however, this particular app has a major chance at disrupting this software category, especially if it focuses on data security and gives more options for data synchronization, such as using sFTP or iCloud, and enabling strong password and encryption of notebooks. I’m not a fan of having to use DropBox for anything sensitive since they have had some major security issues, thus the strong need for data encryption if using 3rd party cloud services. Do yourself a favor and make sure you watch the tutorial videos. The app is fairly beefy and has a learning curve that can shortened with a few minutes of instruction.
Almost in love
MagicalPad is instantly my favorite mind mapping / organizing tool, but it’s a bit buggy. The thing that I like the most is the notes, task and outline view of the same information structure, so as you take notes, then organize them into a work breakdown (for example) you can automatically have a task view so you can see what tasks are done or need to be done next, etc. The bugs that I’m running into have to do with synching between devices. I installed it on my home and work computers, iPad and iPhone, and the result is inconsistent as to what’s visible where, and how current the data is.
Wonderful
The only reason I am not giving this app a 5 is that I cannot find any way to know within what size of paper I am working. I know this is mostly for presentation. However, this app is so useful that I, and I believe many others, would use it for publishing on PDF or even printing. So, it would really be helpful if there was a way to set margins or guides showing the printable area for a particular paper size so that you can place your material there.
